Josmeyer Riesling Grand Cru Brand 2018 is a strikingly expressive and mineral-driven dry Riesling that reflects both the warmth of the vintage and the unique granitic terroir of Brand. The nose reveals pure, crystalline aromas of white peach, citrus (lemon and lime), and orchard fruit, lifted by intense mineral and saline nuances from the granite soils. There’s a compelling tension between ripe fruit generosity and vibrant acidity that gives the wine energy and definition. On the palate it is nervy and dense yet finely balanced, with citrus zest, crunchy apple, and a hint of spice unfolding against a backdrop of chalky, stony minerality.
