Vintage 2015

The 2015 Harvest by Clive Coates MW

The bad news is Chablis. In the early hours of Tuesday 1st September a severe storm hit the Chablis area. Written Notes

Good looking normal size bottle and in an perfect condition. Colour is cherry red, and looking bright and light. On the nose it is youthful, fresh and complex. The taste is rich, fresh, fruity, and dry, warming, with medium tannin, and average in acidity, medium-bodied, with balanced structure and developing. On the palate it is layered and has pepper, vegetal, earthy, cherry and toasty flavours. The finish is long, round and gentle. This wine is excellent. I paid around 100-200€ a bottle. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 10-15 years and decant at least 30min before tasting. Good value for money. I do recommend.
