The Willy Wagtail is so named for the mischievous native bird that frolics around the grounds of Longview.
The wine is infinitely more serious: estate grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay is blended and made Méthode Traditionelle, with 12 months on triage. The wine displays lifted honeysuckle and citrus blossom, complemented by delicate aromas of strawberry and brioche. The palate displays fresh green apple and strawberry with a tantalizing mousse. Firm acidity balances this wine to a crisp, clean finish.
