The Story
Blend: 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 3% Merlot, 2% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot.
Vineyard: Morlet Family Estate is located in Knights Valley, Sonoma, on hillside at 1100-1200 feet elevation. The soil composition is rhyolitic, loam & volcanic ash.
Winemaking: Cluster by cluster and berry by berry sorting. Fermentation with natural yeasts. No filtration. 16 months ageing in French oak from artisan coopers.
