The Story

Second Flight is part and parcel of Screaming Eagle; the wines express that signature freshness so typical of the estate and will age for many years regardless of the composition.  Second Flight is in fact rarer than Screaming Eagle, producing only 500-800 cases a year.

Perfumed nose with layers of cassis, violets and blackberry on the palate. Attractive, accessible flavors with hint of cocoa, mocha and savory herbs. Plush, round with velvety tannins that are gentle on the palate. Lush palate with a seamless character. 43% Merlot with 48% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc.
