Wine Description
The Story
Cabernet Sauvignon is our largest planting of grapes. We have approx 12 different locations to source fruit from to make this type of blend, so lots of options and soil and elevation options. 2014 was a great growing season, rained in early spring and temperatures were nice and not too hot. Fruit was dense and very varietal and this is a good example of Granite Belt fruit.
Wine Information
A rich powerful very varietal Cabernet Sauvignon, ripe dark cherries, wild blueberries, essence of vanilla and creamy floral overtones, soft velvet ripe tannins and the use of the finest French oak to balance out the tannin family and also enhanced by firm acidity that gives depth to the palate and finish.
