The Story

This label was born in 1999 with the idea of creating an elegant Bordeaux blend with a Tuscan touch. Relying on renowned nurseryman Gilbert Bouvet, they graft adult vineyards with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, which are well adapted to the Tuscan terrain. Written Notes

This wine captivates with its deep purple-ruby hue, suggesting richness and depth. The nose is seductive and expressive, offering an open and charming bouquet that is both fresh and complex. Aromas of ripe plum, black olives, blackcurrant, some floral notes, and earthy undertones with patinated horse saddle mingle with hints of cocoa, coffee, and tobacco, creating a seductive aromatic profile. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, silky smooth and elegantly structured. It delivers a voluptuous and fragrant experience, with silky tannins and a perfectly balanced integration of fruit, spices, and oak. Flavors unfold in layers— blackcurrant, leather, vanilla, chocolate, cacao powder and a toasty warmth—culminating in a long, vibrant, and gently lingering finish. This is a well-rounded and impressive wine that speaks of finesse and depth. In blind tasting, it could easily be pointed to top wines of St-Emilion Grand Cru.

Food: Ideal with duck breast, beef tenderloin, or braised short ribs

Serve:Allow at least 2 hours of decanting to reveal its full aromatic and flavor complexity.Serve at 16–18°C (60–64°F) for optimal expression.
