A charming SuperTuscan wine from Bolgheri shows a deep ruby red hue in the glass, signaling richness and concentration. The nose is youthful, dense yet sophisticated, offering an intense and generous aromas of ripe blackberries, cedarwood, violets, vanilla, cigar box, and clove.
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and bit tight, yet refined. It delivers a fresh, mouthfilling sensation with refined tannins and vibrant acidity that provide balance and structure to dense fruit intensity. Toasty oak nuances with flavors of brambles, vanilla, cedar, and spice, creates a layered and harmonious mouthfeel. The finish is long, vibrant, and lingering, leaving a trail of spice and dark fruit. – JL 93p (Oct 2025)
Food: A perfect with grilled ribeye, roast lamb, or venison with a red wine reduction. Will compliment well also mushroom risotto with good odse of Parmesan, truffle pasta, or wild game stews. Pairs beautifully also with mature cheddar, aged Gouda, or Parmigiano.
Serve: Decant for at least 4 hours prior to serving and serve 16–18°C (60–64°F) to allow the wine’s complexity to unfold. This wine will peak in 8-10 years time and will evolve nicely after that for another 10 years.
