The Story

Inspired by two cultural masterpieces, Akira Kurosawa's 1954 epic film "Seven Samurai" and The Clash's 1980 punk classic "Magnificent Seven", which is widely considered to be a precursor to the hip-hop musical genre. A tribute to art, culture, collaboration and hard work.

Written Notes

"A barrel sample, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Magnificent Seven gives a very deep inky purple-black color and youthfully mute nose of blueberry pie, blackberry compote and crème de cassis with hints of cider, fenugreek, menthol, licorice and yeast extract. Full-bodied, firm, taut and laden with earth and fresh black fruit layers, it is built like a brick house and, if the bottled wine lives up to this barrel blend, should give a lot of pleasure over the next 40+ years!"

98-100 Points - Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW (Tasting Report 234, The Wine Advocate)
