Written Notes

A refined, elegant, and beautifully balanced Laurentiuslay GG — combining Mosel delicacy with impressive depth and clarity. The nose is expressive and precise, offering white peach, pear, and yellow apple, lifted by notes of lime zest, citrus blossom, and fresh herbs. Beneath the fruit lies a subtle mineral thread of crushed slate and wet stone, reflecting the vineyard’s calcareous-slate soils.

On the palate, the wine is silky, focused, and beautifully proportioned, delivering flavors of stone fruit, lemon oil, and grapefruit pith framed by a clear saline minerality. The texture is smooth yet structured, with a fine phenolic grip adding depth and tension. Bright, well-integrated acidity gives the wine lift and precision without austerity.

As it opens, nuanced notes of white flowers, chamomile, flint, and crushed herbs emerge, adding complexity and aromatic finesse. The finish is long, clean, and mineral-driven, echoing with citrus freshness, stone fruit purity, and a gentle salty touch.

A superb Laurentiuslay GG — elegant, transparent, and finely etched, showcasing the finesse of the 2024 vintage and offering the structure to evolve gracefully over 15–25 years.
