Robert Parker's Wine Advocate / The flagship wine, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, which is always 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, has an amazing, pure, crème de cassis set of aromatics and flavors, an inky purple color, gorgeous purity, full-bodied opulence and all of the characteristics one expects from this great, first-growth quality vineyard on a steep hillside on Pritchard Hill. The finish goes on for a good 45-50 seconds and the wine shows slight...

Rich and full-bodied. Bryant 2014 has fabulous concentration, a full-bodied, multi-layered mouthfeel, and tremendous finish with moderate tannin. The dark berry flavors give this an elegant mouthfeel and ease the tannic strength. Tempting now if you give it at least 4 hours in a decanter, this is destined to evolve into a classic.

Deep purple to ruby red olour. The nose is packed with finesse and layers. Very polished nose delivers fine chocolate aromas, ripe blackcurrants, lovely touch of Asian spices and refined toastiness. Full-bodied, silky smooth texture, great  concentration, a pure aromatic profile is bright and established with exicting floral and spicy flavours from clove to ginger and roasted hazelnuts to some grinded white pepper. Lingering finish. This wine is just pure elegance. Drinking well already but will peak in 5-10 years from now. Decant for 6 hours and serve at 17-18°C with Veal Tournedos, bacon and sage. Bryant's 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is absolutely stunning. Vibrant, nuanced and exceptionally polished, the 2014 captures all the potential this wine showed when I first started tasting the separate lots from barrel that fall. Powerful and yet also wonderfully translucent, the 2014 exudes class from start to the finish. The mountain tannins are present, but they are nearly buried by the sheer finesse of the fruit. A range of black cherry, plum, lavender, violet and sweet French oak nuances infuse the striking, deeply expressive finish. Brisk, energetic and focused, the 2014 possesses magnificent depth, huge intensity and exceptional overall balance. With the 2014, Bryant is once again squarely among Napa Valley's elite producers. There is little doubt Bryant's 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the wines of the vintage.

Dark ruby. Utterly primary aromas of blackberry, blueberry and licorice. Extremely backward but fine-grained and energetic, showing captivating spicy lift to the youthful blue and black fruit flavors. This compellingly vibrant, unevolved wine practically tastes like a barrel sample. Elegant, vibrant and very pure, finishing with firm, building tannins and terrific energy. This wine, bottled in July of 2016, was racked only twice: after the malolactic fermentation and again in advance of the bottling.
