Written Notes

Bourgneuf -  80% Merlot + 20% Cabernet Franc. Intense blueberries and raspberries on the nose with a black winter truffle touch and the same creamy berries on the palate. Well supported by velvety tannin. There are some power, elegance and finesse combined with splendid complexity. Long and meaty finish. So classy Pomerol wine! 95p (94+p).

Ruby. Blueberries, anise, scented, lighter nose, some vanilla and spices. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, anise, blueberries, some spices, juicy, structured, firm behind, long. 92-94

Dark purple colour with violet hue and almost black core. Elegant nose with fragrant fruit, flowery components, very fine spiciness and subtle oak. Well integrated toasting aroma. On the palate rich with exuberant fruit, hints of violets in the finish, liquorice and mild spices. Sweet tannins, well balanced with excellent length.
