71% Merlot + 29% C. Franc. 13.5% alcohol. Flowery with roses, violets and iris (limestone soil), morello cherries, powerful, intense and concentrated, splendid midpalate, grained tannin, persistent finish. Superbly made and stylish effort. 95p.

Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Excellent nose with powerful character, ripe plums, elderberries and hints of black cherries, hints of mint and aromatic herbs, discreet floral hints in the background. Great freshness and aromatic depth. On the palate very refined style with full-bodied character, excellent length and tension, fine and flavourful finish with hints of minerality. A very classic style.
