Written Notes

Intense deep purple color. Rich and intense nose with black currants, roasted oak, vanilla and cedar notes. Full-bodied, opulent palate with ripe black currants and toasted flavors with a subtle oaky and succulent tannin structure. Good dose of ripe berry flavours are balancing elegant oakiness. The finish is balanced but slightly two-dimensional. The wine will show more complexity after 3-5 years cellaring. JL 88p (3/2020)

Dark purple red with violet hue. Aromatic nose with expressive character, dark cherries, blackberries and mulberries, hints of vanilla and elegant roasting aroma in the background. Well structured and ripe tannins, a wine with a certain depth and convincing length.

Medium deep colour. Dark plum blackcurrant, espresso aromas with vanilla notes. Quite plush with juicy blackberry, plum flavours, chocolaty textures, mid palate volume and persistent fresh acidity. Medium powered with attractive chalky density and clear ripe fruit. Tasted at Ch Haut Brion. 91 points
