A refined, high-tension release from Champagne Jacquart (typically a Chardonnay-dominant blend with Pinot Noir and Meunier), crafted with prolonged lees aging and a very low Extra Brut dosage to highlight pure terroir expression and crisp precision.
The nose is bright, precise, and distinctly chalky, opening with fresh Granny Smith apple, Meyer lemon zest, and white floral notes, underpinned by delicate autolytic layers of toasted brioche, raw almond, and subtle flinty minerality. On the palate, the entry is crisp, bone-dry, and highly linear. A fine, persistent mousse delivers a tight core of citrus oil and white stone fruit, framed by a driving, mouthwatering line of acidity. It concludes with a clean, long, and dry finish marked by wet stone salinity and a refreshing, bitter-lemon-pith grip.
