The Story

Featuring a perfect balance between Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, this prime blend of crus located in the Montagne de Reims, the Côte des Bars and the Marne Valley is a contemporary expression of a BLANC DE NOIRS. The fruity structure of the Pinots is indeed expressed with surprising freshness.

The nose displays delicate aromas of peach and apricot lifted by vibrant notes of grapefruit and gooseberries. On the palate, the wine seduces with a lovely combination of intense fruit aromas and finesse.

Written Notes

“Beautifully toasty nose with some restraint. Yellow apple, patisserie, vanilla and lemon. Plush, round palate bursting with fruit. Fine creamy palate laudably without any oxidative tones. A super-smooth and stylish blanc de noirs.”

  • 91p

50% Pinot Noir, 50% Pinot Meunier. Meunier brings fruity roundness. 2012 – a very healthy, charming vintage, ‘a compromise between 2002 and 2008’. Disgorged 20 months ago. L18134. Tasted in magnum.
The Pinot Noir brings powerful, spicy fruit. Slightly cheesy note. Some real richness, plus acidity. Palmer’s strongest suit?
