The Story

The legendary Berncasteler Doctor vineyard is located behind the village Bernkastel and is one of the most famous vineyards in Germany.

This 100% steep site with a South-South-West orientation consists of medium deep, stony, loamy weathered argillaceous schist. Written Notes

Bright yellow with green hue. Closed character on the nose, however quite complex with some oxygen. Discreet floral aroma, hints of ripe apricots and peaches, juicy mango and papaya, white lilies in the background. On the palate juicy and well structured with opulent sweetness balanced by crisp acidity and distinct minerality, showing a good potential, excellent weight and length.
