The Story

Sourced from select hillside estates, the Cabernet Sauvignon wines of BOND vividly demonstrate the range of Napa Valley's finest terroirs. From the more than eighty vineyards we have worked with over the past quarter century, we have slowly and vigilantly selected five sites. BOND became our covenant and shared commitment to produce only the best expression of the land.

Vintage 2020

Despite the Challenges, the 2020 Vintage will not be Absent from the History Book

Written Notes

Appearance: Deep ruby with violet hints; bright and concentrated core.

Nose: Expressive and layered, with ripe blackcurrant, black cherry, and plum aromas lifted by dried herbs, cedar, graphite, and subtle floral notes. Integrated oak spice and a touch of savory earth add complexity.

Palate: Dry, medium-to-full bodied with rich dark fruit supported by vibrant acidity and polished, fine-grained tannins. Flavors of cassis, ripe plum, and black tea are underpinned by gentle spice, tobacco leaf, and a seam of mineral tension.

Finish: Long and focused, with persistent fruit, savory echoes, and refined structure.

Overall: A articulate, balanced Napa Cabernet blend showing depth, poise, and textural elegance—approachable now with air yet built for medium-term aging.

Serving: 16–18 °C; decant 60–90 minutes in youth.

Pairing: Grilled ribeye, lamb chops with herbs, roasted game, or aged cheeses.
