Written Notes

The nose is a captivating blend of power and finesse. It opens with an explosion of ripe dark fruits, with blackberries, black currants, and plum taking the lead. These fruit aromas are framed by alluring notes of violets, crushed lavender, and a hint of graphite minerality. There's a delightful interplay of sweet vanilla and subtle oak spices, adding layers of complexity.

On the palate, Bond Quella 2019 showcases its pedigree. It is full-bodied and opulent, yet incredibly well-balanced. The rich dark fruit flavors are velvety and concentrated, with blackberry preserves, cassis, and dark cherries at the forefront. The wine exudes a sense of elegance, with seamless integration of fine-grained tannins that provide structure and a lush, creamy texture. Dark chocolate, espresso, and a touch of cedar from oak aging contribute to the wine's overall depth and sophistication.

This wine exhibits impeccable structure, with a solid backbone of ripe tannins that are both supple and polished. The acidity is vibrant, lifting the palate and ensuring a long and harmonious finish. Bond Quella 2019 strikes a perfect balance between power and finesse, making it incredibly enjoyable now and promising exceptional aging potential.

The finish is extraordinarily long and resonant, echoing the dark fruit and spice notes that define the wine's character. It leaves a lasting impression of grace and complexity.

Bond Quella 2019 is a testament to the excellence of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It captures the essence of the region's terroir and the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into producing a wine of this caliber. While it is undoubtedly impressive in its youth, it also possesses the structure and depth to age gracefully for many years, revealing even greater complexity with time.

Bond Quella 2019 is a wine that can be enjoyed now, especially with decanting to allow it to fully express itself. However, for those with patience, it has the potential to evolve and improve over the next 10-15 years, showcasing the true potential of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It's a wine for special occasions and moments of celebration, a true gem in the world of fine wine.

Purple colour with violet hue. Elegant nose with fine character, elderberries, blueberries, blackberries, and hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate well-balanced with ripe tannins, slightly dryish in the finish, fine and juicy fruit, well-balanced with very convincing length.
