Hailing from the chalk-rich soils of Avize, this 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay reflects the generosity and ripe warmth of the 2018 vintage while retaining a firm, terroir-driven backbone. The nose is immediately inviting, bursting with ripe yellow apples, lemon confit, and baked pears, layered over nuances of honeysuckle, toasted hazelnuts, and a chalky, mineral core. On the palate, the wine is broad, creamy, and round, coating the mouth with a fine, persistent mousse and a rich mid-palate of stone fruits and warm pastry. A bright beam of citrusy acidity cuts cleanly through the richness, balancing the sun-drenched fruit and guiding the wine into a long, dry, and distinctly chalky finish marked by a subtle saline lift.
