Written Notes
A blood red centre to a more gentle red edge.
For me, this wine is showing a little much of the herbals, that slightly vegetal note that seems to emerge from Cabernet that could be riper. Others will, and do, thoroughly enjoy the style. I just find it pushes the boundary a little more than I’d like. As a broad and hopefully not offensive generalisation, it may appeal to the European palate more than it does to those of the New World. But that is only one aspect of a very fine wine.
An intensely flavoured Cabernet with coffee bean and cedar notes. There is complexity and maturity here with good length. Fine tannins.
A very well crafted wine.
