The Story

An eye of iridescent yellow gold, a complex and fruity nose, a delight on the palate, a true smile. The bubbles hail this young and fiery wine, ever sensuous with plentiful fruit notes. The aromas of lightly toasted bread covered with fresh butter, tickle the taste buds and set the conversation alight. It is the champagne not only for a special occasion but for any evening. Let the celebration begin!

Crafted with consummate precision from 100% Grand Cru fruit, Mailly Brut Reserve epitomizes our particular style of wine making essential in a market that generally judges a House’s performance by the quality of its Brut NV Champagne.

Written Notes

A typical Champagne-colour with an almost pale yellow and straw yellow hue. Fine fruit, discreet nose with hints of yellow stone fruit, windfall, greengage, little Brioche and discreet hints of vanilla in the background. Hints of citrus fruit in the background, developing with some oxygen. On the palate creamy texture with good mousseux, fine fruit, flavour repeating the fruit of the nose, hints of Brioche in the background. Relatively high but balanced dosage.
