Chateau Croizet Bages is a fifth growth Chateau in Pauillac, Bordeaux. The 30 hectare vineyard of Croizet Bages is typical of the Medoc with soils of gravel, sand and iron.Chateau Croizet Bages vineyards are planted to 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc. On average, the vines are 35 years of age.
The 30 hectare estate is set on a mix of gravel, iron and mineral soil with a scattering of sand throughout. Planted to mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a large portion of Merlot and a small portion of Cabernet Franc, the blend sees all three grapes mixed to create the wine best representing the terroir of the site.
