Vieux Chateau Certan on Pomerolin hienoimpia tiloja Petruksen, Le Pinin, L'Evangilen ja Lafleurin ohella. Tilan koko on 14 hehtaaria ja se sijaitsee keskellä Pomerolin parasta kasvualuetta (ns. Gunz Terrace), jonka maaperä on soraa ja rautapitoista savea.

Tilalla viljelmät jakautuvat seuraavien lajikkeiden kesken; merlot (60 %), cabernet franc (30 %) ja cabernet sauvignon (10 %). Tarkan käsinpoiminnan jälkeen vain tarkasti valikoidut rypäle...
