Vintage 2012

The next most exceptional vintage since 2008. A truly difficult growing season saw severe frosts in the winter. March brought warmth but early budbreak made the vines vulnerable to spring frosts. Written Notes

Fine bubble stream. White gold, yellow, in color. Instant coffee, sliced pears, rich mousse, lime, lemon, pineapple, brioche, cream, yellow peach, chalk. Chiseled, defined, complex yet structured, brioche, lingering mousse, on the finish.

Clean, ripe fruity nose with mild, appley fruit with baked peach complexity. Full-on zesty and vigorous palate with plenty of concentration. Long and structured, finishing on a lemony and chalky note on the dry ending.

  • 90p
Good looking normal size bottle. Colour is light. On the nose it is youthful, refined, pure and fresh. The taste is elegant, fruity, focused, and dry, and high in acidity, light, with satin texture, balanced structure and youthful. On the palate it is layered and has white fruits, mineral and citrus flavours. The finish is medium long, lingering and pure. This wine is transparent. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 1-5 years.
