Doisy-Védrines is a 2ème Cru Classé Sauternes which belongs to the long-established Castéja wine family, and remains relatively little known by most wine lovers, due mainly to tiny production levels. Written Notes

Doisy Vedrines - 80% Semillon, 15% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Muscadelle. Acacia honey and peach on the nose, quite elegant with finesse, fine acidity and depth on the palate, lingering finish. Tasteful and attractive. 92p.

Golden. Fruity, peach and pineapples nose, lighter. Fresh acidity, fresh, fruity, elegant texture, lovely balance, good length. 88-90

Classic style pale medium coloured. Apricot flinty honey aromas. Intensely concentrated wine with deep set apricot grapefruit glacé fruits, supple rich viscous textures snd integrated acidity. Finishes chalky firm and long.

Intense yellow colour with golden hue. Expressive nose with aroma reminiscent of candied orange peel, angelica, lemon zest and hints of dried pineapple. On the palate rich sweetness, mild acidity, succulent fruit and excellent length.
