Medium deep colour. Intense cassis. Roasted chestnut, savoury oak aromas. Oak is beautifully integrated into the fruit. Well concentrated wine with buoyant cassis, savoury mocha flavours, fine chalky textures. Rose petal, cassis minerally finish. Impressive. 95 points

Tasted three times - last time in October 2017. Consistent notes. 66% C. Sauvignon + 34% Merlot, harvest between 24th September and 15 October. Cool vintage in every sense. Very stylish, great complexity and structure, no holes in the firnament, really remarkable acidity and minerality. Long fruity aftertaste. Will keep for many years to come. So truly classic Bordeaux wine!

Dark purple red colour with violet hue and black centre. Elegant and persistant nose with aroma reminiscent of blackberries, violets and discreet spicyness. On the palate well structured with good weight and length, firm but mature tannins, balanced approach, a wine with potential.
