Château Hosanna is unclassified, but has historically been considered among the great crus of the region. The property is situated south of Château Lafleur, west of Château Pétrus and north of Château Vieux Certan. Sharing its origin with Château Vieux Certan and Château Ce...

In the spring of 1999, Ets. Jean-Pierre MOUEIX purchased the Château CERTAN GIRAUD from the eponymous family. The property was divided in two parts, one of which was sold. Tasting note

Be the first one to make a 20s tasting note!

Written Notes

Dark, ruby red colour. The nose is bit closed but shows some dark plums, spices, ripe black fruit and touch of tar. Medium-bodied, vivid acidity, gentle tannins and sour cherry fruit on palate. Delicate and gentle wine with ripe soul. However bit burning and woody finish. Serve with pan-fried fillet of Guinea Fowl and parmesan risotto.

Deep in color, chocolate, floral, black raspberry, cherry, oak and plum scents are easy to find. Plush, round textures, with layers of silky, velvety plum and cherry is made better by the wine’s freshness and length, which feel great on the palate. 93-95 Pts
