Written Notes

Tasted in October 2018. Similar to Latour-á-Pomerol, more intensity and length, more complex. Aromatic black cherries. Velvety texture and long finish.

  • 95p
Dark purple red with violet hue and almost black core. Expressive nose with complex aroma reminiscent of mulberries and blackberries, elderberries and hints of gingerbread spices as well as discreet hints of toasted oak. On the palate rich start and excellent mid-palate, persistent length with lingering fruit and hints of mild spices.
  • 95p
Ruby. Dark fruits, faint herbal touch, some thyme, red berries, some violets nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, rounded, juicy, ripe, elegant texture, long. 92-94
  • 93p
Medium deep colour. Attractive red plum redcurrant aromas with inky notes. Elegantly styled yet rich and voluminous with red plum redcurrant inky flavours, balanced savoury oak, long grainy slightly al dente tannins and superb mineral length. Lovely vinosity and freshness.96 points
