Written Notes

Monbrison Margaux - 55% Cabernet Sauvignon 30% Merlot 10%

Cabernet Franc Full plum colour, the nose is quite broad with a minty

edge. Usually quite light this has more too it this year with good palate

density. Higher Cabernet Franc than most, adding to the solid structure

and length. Quite impressive for Monbrison. 90-92/100 2023-2035

Dark purple red with violet hue. Elegant and fine nose with discreet oak spicyness, hints of vanilla and dark berries, on the palate well structured with medium weight and length, firm tannins with a slightly dry finish.
