Written Notes

Deep colour. Intense dark cherry, plum roasted chestnut, spicy oak aromas. Well concentrated supple wine with gentle dark cherry, plum fruits, supple perfectly ripe lacy tannins, fine roasted almond notes and long mineral acidity. Finishes chalky firm and tight with some leafy bitter notes. Very good wine. Tasted at the Union des Grand Crus. 95 points

Dark purple red with violet hue and black core. Expressive nose with aroma reminiscent of ripe black cherries, mulberries and blackberries, hints of cocoa, coffee and gingerbread spices in the background. On the palate excellent structure, fine and mature tannins in high concentration, sweet berries, gingerbread spices and a hint of dark chocolate in the aftertaste. 97
