Written Notes

Retasted on 7th September 2016 during Beyerman negociant tasting of several 2015s and some older vintages from 30 properties.

Still as impressive as in April 2016, wonderfully focused wine with great precision, perfect balance, fully ripe black fruit and great depth. Smooth, lingering and sweet finish. Awesome effort.

Deep colour. Black olive, dark berry violet aromas. Fleshy concentrated wine with liquorice, black berry fruits and plentiful chalky tannins. Finishes drying firm but sweet fruit pervades. A substantial wine with an alcohol kick. 92 points

Dark purple red with violet hue and almost black core. Elegant nose with ripe berries, plums and black cherries. Discreet spiciness with hints of vanilla and gingerbread in the background. Firm but ripe tannins, elegant start on the palate, well built with excellent length.
