The work in the vineyard at Rauzan-Ségla is carried out plot by plot, plant by plant. The harvest is performed with the same painstaking care as the other tasks throughout the year. Each step is approached with the same attention to detail, from the picking to the production of the new wine.
Each vintage must be considered unique and be treated as such, demanding a renewed attention and making any attempt at an annual routine quite impossib...

Full report of Bordeaux 2015 by Andrew Caillard MW “Next in line in a great series of vintages; 2000, 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2015.

Floral and aromatic. Fresh and vibrant with lots of red berries, red plum and yet not over powerful. The wine was pure and clean with fineness, complexity, high acidity and velvet tannin. Medium long length. I just loved this wine. 94-95+
Dark purple red with violet hue and almost black core. Aromatic nose with elegant character, blackcurrants and red berries, discreet oak spices. On the palate well structured with firm but mature tannins, fine fruit, convincing length and elegant finish. Very discreet presence of oak.
Deep colour. Fresh dark berry cassis, liquorice with cedar notes, Substantial buoyant wine with wonderful density fruit power, chocolaty tannins and balanced new oak notes. Finishes chocolaty, al-dente firm. Very good wine. 96 points
Rauzan Segla Margaux - 63% Cabernet Sauvignon 33% Merlot 3% Petit Verdot 1% Cabernet Franc
Good deep colour, delicately perfumed nose, nice and complex, silky texture, really round and refined here, great length this is quite lovely and has an extra but of everything to make it special. A definite buy if the price is reasonable. 93-96/100 2025-2050
