The work in the vineyard at Rauzan-Ségla is carried out plot by plot, plant by plant. The harvest is performed with the same painstaking care as the other tasks throughout the year. Each step is approached with the same attention to detail, from the picking to the production of the new wine.

Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Rich nose with concentrated yet elegant character, at the start slightly closed but opening up well, ripe blackcurrants, blackcurrant spurs, elderberries and raspberries. Hints of incense and fine toasting, fine floral hints in the background, blackcurrant spurs. On the palate well structured and balanced with ripe tannins, mild acidity, elegant fruit with blackcurrants and raspberries, juicy finish with excellent length.
