Raymond-Lafon is a name to watch in the Sauternes district, particularly if one is looking for a wine that is close to the brilliance and majestic richness of Yquem for less than one-third the price.

Intense golden colour with copper coloured hue. Opulent nose with intense aroma reminiscent of peanuts, white nougat and candied orange peel, dried pineapple and dried apricots, vanilla and a whiff of toasting in the background. Very classic style with rich sweetness tamed by fine acidity, flavour quoting the nose, excellent length.
