Tasting notes: 2015 Darius II Cabernet Sauvignon echoes the remarkable seamlessness of its predecessors while expressing the vibrancy and generous fruit characteristic of the 2015 vintage. The wines predominantly hillside provenance is revealed in layers of blackberry liqueur, licorice and espresso, with savory, energetic notes of Darjeeling tea and dried orange peel adding further complexity. The soft, ripe and well-integrated tannins add plushness and texture; Darius II finishes long and persistent with notes of incense, sweet oak, and dried herbs.
