Written Notes

Perrot-Minot Mazoyeres-Chambertin 2005 Big and dark nose that shows a bit of savory development and degenerated fruit, meat, herbs, mint, dried hay, pickles, soy and mushrooms. Fresh dark berries underneath but much more savouy than sweet. Great complex nose. Full bodied, sweet fruit attack with dark, wild berries that turns into a more savory mid-palate with mushrooms and mint on top of the fruit. Smooth and fine length though with a touch dry tannins. Feels a bit rustic today and needs air or more cellar time. Still very enjoyable. 2015-2025 92p.
