The Story

This 100% chardonnay wine is grown on soil with Kimmeridgian limestone (hence the name) just outside of the Chablis area. The nose has citrus aromas, and the wine is bright, with refreshing acidity. Done entirely in stainless steel, this is the perfect accompaniment for shellfish or crab. The flinty minerality is combined with a hint of sweet cream on the mid-palate.

Written Notes

Good looking normal size bottle. Colour is green-yellow and light. On the nose it is open, youthful, fresh, pure and charming. The taste is focused, elegant, vivid, fresh, fruity, and dry, and average in acidity, light, with balanced, well-structured structure and youthful. On the palate it is layered and has white fruits, citrus and mineral flavours. The finish is medium long, lingering, pure and vibrant. This wine is a good every wine and transparent. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 1-5 years.
