Written Notes

Very toasty and tertiary on the nose, with oxidative influence giving an apple-cider character to the fruit – but all is not lost on the palate. It's dry and tart, but there is so much fruit concentration that the oxidative influence isn't ruinous. Even so, this is far from peak condition. An old master in need of restoration. (RH)

Charming nose turns into stiff and less flirty palate, respectful for the house style. This wine turned out more extrovert on palate after 10 hours decanting. However, well-made and somehow closed at this stage. Hans Välimäki, two-Michelin star chef, would serve this with Fresh Scallop sushis!
