The Story

Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo

 

Origins: Cerretta is an important CRU of Barolo. The vineyard is located in Serralunga d’Alba village. Altitude of 390m.

Type of soil: Calcareous and rich in iron

Vinification: From 12 to 16 days in steel tanks with carefully controlled temperature.

 

Ageing: After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in 1600 liter French oak barrels, and in some small 400 liters barrels for 36 months.
