The Story

Palmer & Co VINTAGE is always a subtle association of a particular climatic year and the Palmer style. Consisting exclusively of Premier and Grand Crus from the Montagne de Reims area, this champagne of rare complexity also has the typical charming elegance of Palmer&Co.

Vintage 2012

2012 was deemed one of the best vintages the Champagne region has ever experienced. “The quality and the intensity are definitely there to make an outstanding vintage,” Dom Perignon chef de cave Richard Geoffroy told Decanter. Written Notes

“Medium lemon colour. Sophisticated nose with creamy-toasty complexity. Rich and expressive with lovely gunpowdery whiffs. Round palate with dried fruit profile getting emphasised. There is volume and freshness on the sweetly fruity, instantly impressive palate. Long, fruity, sweet finish. ”

Bright, gren yellow colour. Rich, toasty and elegant nose. Dry, rich creamy texture and good intensity. The silky finish is long and lingering. JL 94p (Oct 2021)

Small crop. Dosage 7 g/l. L18120C. The 2009 is in UK until the end of 2019.
Lively mousse. Creamy nose, almost lactic. The Palmer CEO suggests pear. Transparent and very racy. Excellent attack. Still quite youthful but already approachable. A rather charming, easy drink. I could drink this all afternoon. Very friendly now.
