The Story

Blend: 85% Chardonnay, Pinot Noir 15%

Ageing: 9 years on lees

Dosage: 5 g/L (The liqueur de tirage is made of chardonnay coming from the plot selection with a maturation in barrels for number of years.)

2009 has been one of the best year in Champagne, for more than 30 years. The high quality of health conditions and the optimum maturity led to the desired balance of Champagne PAUL GOERG and ensured promising champagnes.

Warmest conditions since 2003, optimal maturity, healthy fruit. Balanced wines with average sugars, lower acidities. High overall maturity. Vintage year for some, principally récoltants-manipulants (individual growers). In ’09, new EU rules reduced dosage for Brut to 12 g/l.
