Origin: Made from grand cru Chardonnays from different plots of the family vineyards of Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger, this wine is made from only the best vintages. It is nuanced with silky and toasty aromas, with a well-balanced ‘‘minerality’’.

100% Chardonnay from 13 plots in Le Mesnil. 6 years on lees. Disgorged March 18, 2015. Very fine bubbles; aromas of toast, pistachio and dried apricots. Medium-full. Lovely complexity, very bright fruit, precise acidity. Delicate mouthfeel- very well made, classy wine. Best in 5-7 years.

This warm year started with a cold winter and mild spring temperatures. Early summer was variable but August and September provided ample sunshine and warmth contributing to fine grape health.
