Germany/ Quality rather than quantity: 2017 has great potential!

The fascinating 2017 vintage is also one of a kind. The smallest volume here in our wi- nery since the excellent 1971. In many parcels, the Riesling yield barely exceeded 20 hl/ha. For the Pinot Noir, in some instances it was even less.

Once at Zeltinger Hof for dinner and to research articles. Medium golden colour. Fresh but not overly concentrated fruit on the nose. Tropical fruit mix and fresh coffee. Very good supporting acidity on the palate and elegant, fresh yellow fruit with peach and jammy apricot. Medium-length finish. 91
