Pinotage clone PI 48 A, planted in 1999 on the Northen slopes of a Limenstone Ridge close to the Atlantic Ocean and exposed to constant winds and extreme cold at night. This Pinotage has much smaller bunches and berries than typical of any Pinotage crop grown elsewhere. Petit Verdot, clone PR 400 D also grown on the Limesone Ridge.
