The 2013 vintage in Bordeaux was one of the most difficult since 1965 and 1968. Thomas Duroux of Château Palmer describes it as “the most complicated vintage in 20 years”. Ruby. Scented, red berries, seductive, floral and detailed nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, elegant, bit vanilla up front in the finish, intense and long. 92-94

Dark purple red with violet hue and almost black centre. Very elegant but persistant style with aroma reminiscent of blackberries, blackcurrants, mulberries and plums. Black cherries in the background. Elegant toasting with aroma reminiscent of dark chocolate, gingerbread and hints of vanilla. Complex characer continues on the palate with multilayered fruit, black cherries, blackberries, mild spices and elegant toasted flavour. Tannine are elegant and well balanced, the wine shows depth and length with a great potential.
