The colour is starting to show the first signs of orange, although it freshened up in the glass. Gentle, fragrant, strawberry nose, still vigorous. Soft red fruit in the mouth but still a firm acidity and a little bitterness from the tannins. With time in the glass the fruit strengthens and the hard edge softens, though the acidity remains. Time to start drinking this wine though it should still last 3 to 5 years.
