Written Notes

2024 Les Tourelles de Longueville: 65% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Cabernet Franc. 13.1% alcohol. Unlike Griffons, it has a higher Merlot content and less Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend. Nevertheless, it is well made. It is softer, more elegant, less intense, with a lighter structure and a more pronounced fruity aftertaste. 90-91p. Tasted in April 2025. 2028 to 2038.

Dark purple colour with violet hue. Expressive nose with distinct toasting, mocha, dark chocolate and spicy cedar wood complemented by ripe dark stone fruit and elegant forest berries. On the palate, well-structured with ripe yet firm tannins, juicy fruit, medium-bodied yet with a good mid-palate and very good length.
