Vintage 2015

Full report of Bordeaux 2015 by Andrew Caillard MW “Next in line in a great series of vintages; 2000, 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2015.

Written Notes

This is very fresh on the nose with raspberry, rhubarb, custard hints too, this has an attractive freshness, quite piercing, carries very well into the

toasty finish, a very good Branaire. Nice tension here

Dark purple red with violet hue and almost black core. Expressive nose with ethereal fruit, dark berries, black cherries and hints of ripe plums. Mild spices and discreet toasting aroma well integrated. On the palate well balanced with elegant character, fine tannins, juicy fruit and excellent aftertaste. A wine with length and class.

Deep colour. Fragrant floral, violet, blackcurrant aromas with vanilla notes. Fresh blackcurrant, roasted chestnut, inky cherry-cola flavours with looseknit grainy tannins and attractive mid-palate density. Chalky dry plume at the finish. Lovely elegant wine with beautiful aromatic complexity and impact. 94 points
