Written Notes

Tasted in September 2019. At last this property shows much more personality, focus and precision than in recent vintages. Elegant with finesse, great complexity and structure, sleek with fine balance and smooth finish. Simply excellent stuff.

Deep crimson. Red plum red currant cassis fruits. Quite plummy and well concentrated with fine chocolaty tannins and underlying savoury oak. Aniseed alcoholic kick at the finish.

Dark purple red colour with violet hue and black core. Very elegant yet expressive nose. Fine aroma reminiscent of blackcurrants, plums and black cherries, subtle oak and discreet spiciness. On the palate classic style with firm yet ripe tannins, juicy fruit flavour repeating the aroma of the nose, elegant spiciness. A wonderful wine in a classic style.
